A neighbor of ours had a couple of old (60s/70s) camper trailers they had used as hunting lodges on the far reaches of their property. I don't know what make or model this trailer camper was but it had fallen into disrepair and was no longer livable. Not wanting to pay for its removal, they dismantled it and burnt the wood. Insulation and plastics were taken to the dump, the metals were given to us since we take scrap into the city for extra cash when we have accumulated enough to make it worth while. In the pieces of aluminum sheet exterior was this window still in good condition. We figured there was no sense in busting up a perfectly good window and decided to put it up for auction. The glass is clear and uncolored (not marked DOT certified tempered), the frosted effect is reflected clouds, pictures were taken on an overcast day. Crank mechanism opens and closes the window correctly. But it could use some scouring and/or lubrication in the seal areas as the rubber binds on the aluminum making it hard at initial opening and final closing. No screen or crank handle included. It requires a minimum opening of 30-1/2” long x 21-5/8” high. Overall, measures 31-5/8” long x 23-1/4” high x 3-1/4” thick (includes crank shaft); 9#, 5 oz actual weight. A box large enough to ship this window safely to the Midwest would cost over $60 (Parcel Post).
