LARC-LX 60ton (Lighter, Amphibious, Resupply, Cargo)
Four-Wheeled Diesel lighter. Maintained by the U.S. Army until recently. This vehicle is incredible! Not only is it capable of going just about anywhere, but it is in incredible condition. This is a Vietnam Era piece of equipment, but you wouldn't know it by looking. This LARC has been well maintained consistently and regularly since it was purchased. Prior to purchase, this LARC was completely overhauled and renovated by the U.S. military.
PURPOSE / USES: Built to transport large machinery and heavy loads from off-shore vessels to beach and inland transfer points, island to island, or for crossing large waterways such as inland rivers. These vehicles are ideally suited for island transport and marine construction. These vehicles are capable of handling very rough terrain without risk to vehicle or crew.
Other uses include rescue missions, disaster recovery, salvage, and more.

Buyer's Inspection Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. Vehicle is sold on an as is basis, and can be viewed anytime prior and up to auction end. If you are the high bidder and unable to inspect said vehicle before auction close, you or an agent will have (10) days to inspect said vehicle. I encourage a physical inspection strongly to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. Buyer has the opportunity to view and inspect the vehicle and ask any and all questions. Any and all costs, charges, fees or other issues in regard to viewing said vehicle are the responsibility of the bidder. We may consider selling to highest bidder if reserve is not met. We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. We reserve the right to sell elsewhere, and we will require bidders with -0- feedback to verify their bids with a phone call. Non-Paying Bidder If the deposit is not received within 3 business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 30 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer. |
