We are sorry to report that new batteries for your Apelco radio are no longer available.   We can however, rebuild and improve your old battery. Our conversion from NiCd to NiMh cells will upgrade the obsolete equipment to state of the art technology.

Primecell has developed high capacity battery conversions for many marine radios. We have been rebuilding and upgrading the Apelco models for 5 years and our customers keep asking ... how do you do it ?  My radio never worked this well, and it seems to operate twice as long on a single battery charge!

If you notice the specifications for each model we have in deed increased the battery capacity to twice what it originally was and so - it will operate twice as long per charge. This battery design allows use of any of the original chargers sold with the product. Can't find your charger? Tell us what you need - we have replacements.
