I am still learning on how to use it properly but after caulking several windows on the outside, I find it much better than a manual gun. The first thing that it eliminates is the st-udder problem caused by ratcheting the pressure handle. Also if you remember to take your finger off the trigger before you raise the gun the pressure leaks off and you don't have caulk running all over. It is best to release the trigger about an inch before the end of the bead. If you have to go back and add just a dab of caulk you just tap the trigger. Surprisingly useful and easy
Pleasantly surprised.... Very good linear control: a little trigger produces a little flow, more trigger, more flow, etc. Trigger release makes instant pressure release, no drooling. Very light and handy, with no "tail" sticking out like a manual gun. AND -- I didn't even use a pressure regulator. 140psi, no problem.

Worked great with thicker sealants but difficult to control with thin like 100% silicone. Still worked but came out very quickly...even tried adjust air down to like 30psi.
