As a private party I have bought two and sold two cars on ebay. I found it is most important to find trust in your seller. Although I am not an expert on ebay, you can trust that this Audi is in superb condition, well maintained and fully disclosed. This car has been driven by my daughters. It has been a fun car for them in the summer sun and safe car in the winter snow. The convertible and quattro is the perfect combination. It is the only car with this combination on the market. It was driven highway miles back and forth to school the last four years. We have a 100K warranty and was always maintained at the local Carousel Audi Dealership. We have all the service records including new brakes, tires, custom Audi wheels, much more.
This car has been washed every week and always garaged. The color combination of black with red interior is rare and classic. Interior still smells like new leather and in perfect condition. If there is any wear it would be on the carpet mats. If you don't know about this car, here is a list of all the standard details... 4 wheel disc brakes, 3-Point Rear Seat Belts, Adjustable telescoping Steering Wheel, dual climate control, driver and passenger heated seats, Upgraded Bose sound system, cruise control, dual 12 way power seats, remote trunk lid and fuel door, power windows, locks, and best of all - power top - perfect condition one touch, interval sensor wipers, vanity mirrors, break resistant glass, car and trip computer, full gauges, airbags... more.
What is not perfect - one small ding in the lower rear bumper, when opening the glove box the hinge on one side is limp (but it closes firm and solid), same with the center console - one hinge is loose but closes firm and fine, pictures show the front bumper tow hook cover missing, the trunk lid has a couple little scratches which could be buffed out (I've left them as is so paint is all stock).
One thing to ADD - after a few questions on front end paint chips... there are NONE. The original owner installed a 3M clear protective film on the front bumper and hood. The film has kept the hood in perfect condition.
