BMWA good solid BMW /5 gas tank for 1970-73 models. This is the large capacity tank, 5.7 gallons/22 liters. This tank has been sitting for a long while and has some rust inside. If I was keeping it, I would recoat it. Has one small dent as shown in picture 7, where the seat meets the tank. Apparantly it met it a tad hard at one point. Could use repainting. Comes with locking gas cap which is unlocked. Unfortunately, there is no key. Also has knee pads and tank emblems which have a couple of chips in them. No petcocks.
