Bought this 7 or 8 years ago , to restore, from a fellow who bought it in an estate sale in Ohio. It was oily and dirty when it arrived, but after cleaning on it for a few days I found it was in in Great shape and determined it was too nice to restore. so I just cleaned most things, changed the fluids, tuned it and ended up with a great original 40+ year old beezzer. I did paint the side covers and installed a new seat cover,, but the tank is original paint with no dents and with decal!. It runs strong, idles smooth, shifts perfectly. doesn't smoke,, stops on a dime,, well maybe a silver dollar.
What It needs: Most of the rubber pieces are dry,, tires have good tread but are old,, all the chrome and alloy could use more polishing. It will mark it's spot in the garage and will wet sump if ignored for long periods of time.
I have 40+ bikes and try to ride them all a couple times a year, so I've probably only ridden this one a few hundred miles.I 've developed a health issue so didn't ride it at all this season. I'm selling most of my collection so keep an eye out for for more . It lives in a warehouse with the others, so it is always protected.
