BUB Enterprises started in 1978 with Denis Manning and a desire to build exhaust pipes. He starting with Triumph parts because he knew about the system and at the time no one else was making them. The products expanded to Harley- Davidson and then incorporated the European machines. Before too long he started making exhaust for the Japanese bikes too. After a number of years, the motorcycle industry in the US was in a decline and while sales of BUB products were stable, a choice was made to move up to Northern California. Operating from Denis's own home, at the time sales increased which enabled him to move production into a 3000 sq ft building perched atop a hill overlooking the valley on his ranch, the building is still used for his racing shop today.
