This listing is for one Buick Assembly Manual covering the 1970 Buick Skylark, Custom, Gran Sport, Sportwagon, LeSabre, Estate Wagon, Wildcat, Electra 225, and Riviera from their base models all the way up to the top of the line, fully loaded models. Measuring 8 ½ x 11, this loose-leaf manual is three hole punched and has approximately 300 pages of part numbers, torque specifications, wiring diagrams and technical information plus more than 295 illustrations showing how the car is assembled. It covers in exploded views different body styles including sedans, hardtops, convertibles and wagons.
An assembly manual is not only a great reference tool when you disassemble or reassemble your car but also helps you identify incorrect or missing parts. It is perhaps the most valuable book for any person restoring their machine. With GM's permission, this assembly manual was reprinted on an offset press and not a copy machine, so you can be confident it is a high quality reproduction you will find very useful when restoring or maintaining your car.
Due to the condition of the original documents, some pages may be blank, or be so light or have so much background noise that they are nearly impossible to read but remember, the original books are very old and are imperfect. Assembly manuals were originally used by GM factory line workers to help them fit the various pieces together as the vehicles rolled down the assembly line. Therefore, this manual shows you how major components, such as the engine or transmission are mounted in the car, but does not show you how to repair or maintain them.
