Hi Kerry....Gerry here from Canada. Just wanted to report that I received me Corbin adaptable backrest. 
Delivery took a week and that isn’t bad considering the package has to clear Canadian customs. 
I want you to know that the quality of the backrest I found to be very professional. It fit into my old Corbin seat just perfectly. Once fitted, it is sturdy. Both myself and my wife sat on the seat to test the comfort of the backrest and both of us found it to be very comfortable. I also like the fact that the backrest is adjustable as with the original Corbin backrest. 
Finally Kerry, I can’t forget the price...because the price is what attracted me to make this purchase. The Corbin backrest is very expensive. Whether it is new or used...even used on ebay it costs over $150US and that is without shipping and Canadian customs. Your backrest coast me about $120US....delivered( Canadian Custom Taxes were $18can.) 
I was so pleased with my purchase that I inscribed a post to that effect on the ST Forum website....
