Brass Rayfield Carburetor Model L3E Pat. 2/28/11One clean original Rayfield Model L3E brass carburetor. Patent date is 2/28/11, but being an L Series I suspect it to be a bit newer. It was made by Findeisen & Kropf of Chicago. Serial number is 30T469.



All components move freely and it evidences little wear or use. The brass is nice. Throat diameter is slightly less than 1.5 inches.



Rayfield was a supplier of quality carburetors to a number of makes of vehicles in the early days of the automobile...but my limited research did not find the specific application for the Model L3E. Please feel free to educate me as to application...or just buy it "and leave me a'wondering."
