Here for your consideration is one of the nicest Buick GNX’s on the market. Just when you thought the muscle car era ended in the early ‘70’s Buick introduced the 3.8 liter V6 Intercooler Turbo in the Grand National. In 1987 Buick went a step further and sent 547 Grand Nationals to ASC/McLaren where additional modifications were made and then sent them to select Buick dealers. These cars had a window sticker of $29,290.00, the GNX package was a $10,995.00 option over the price of a Grand National. Line up your Hemi’s, Boss’, GTO’s, and Chevelles, a stock GNX blast thru the quarter mile in 13.43 seconds, a time that rivals all those beloved muscle car classics of the ‘60’s and early ‘70’s. The most amazing thing of all is that Buick does it with a 3.8 liter V6 engine. Kind of gives a new meaning to the work performance. With only 547 produced this car will be the #1 collector car of the ‘80’s. This is car #375, it is in overall excellent condition, it is one of the best I’ve seen. I’m not just saying that it is one of the best, it has been judged as one of the best, scoring a total of 400 out of a possible 400 points at the GS National. The car has only 2,731 well cared for miles. It is still wearing its original paint, interior, tires, engine, and turbo. It is basically like looking at a 2 month old car. It is as nice or even nicer than a 100 mile car. The under carriage has been detailed, the original exhaust has been polished, this is an exceptional car. The car also comes with the jacket, book, window sticker, and GNX supplement owners manual. This is a great car for a collector who might want to show it or drive it.
