Rare Black WO2 Turbo Buick- Estimated less than 200 made.

For sale is an extremely rare1987 black turbo Buick with the WO2 option. These cars were only made for 90 days. If you have read “Kirban’s Guide to 1986 and 1987 Buick Turbo Regals” then you have seen under the WE4 Regal section that Dennis says “the real rare one is a black 1987 Turbo-T with the WO2 exterior sport package”. This car preceded the WE4 model and had to be manufactured before November 15, 1986 in order to have the factory chrome bumpers.

I have the dealer invoice and this car was shipped from the factory on November 17, 1986.

This is a car that was bought new on March 24, 1987 by a gentleman in Maine who was 45 years old at the time of the original purchase. The car has 126,000 miles on it or an average of 6,300 miles per year. The car was driven by his wife and never used in the winter. There is no rust evident anywhere and the car is all original with the exception of an after market exhaust system and a repaint. The interior is in excellent shape with no tears, stains or rips. The car has the 2008 State of Maine inspection sticker on it. I have all of the original paper work including a Rusty Jones invoice from the dealer dated March 23, 1987 in the amount of $249.00.

I have the original keys and a set of original unused keys along with the window sticker, odometer mileage statement, deposit slips, dealer invoice, application for title dated 3/23/87 and the original Maine Title. I have all booklets that came in the glove box as well.

This car runs very smoothly and extremely strong. A real collector’s item in the truest sense.

If you are just looking for a Grand National or WE4 car this is not for you. This is a car for a collector or one who wants the best of an extremely rare model. If you do not know the history of the Turbo Buicks then you will not appreciate the rarity of this particular car.

I have placed a very reasonable reserve on this car.

A: I don't believe that is a question. G80, posi-traction was an option just like concert sound, power windows or a sun roof. Some cars got them and others didn't. It does not impact the rarity of the car. If you're... Continue reading
