Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 172k one owner miles. Collector's Edition like every other '96 Roadmaster built. Click button below to view the Carfax report free. NJ car with a very solid body and underside. Power provided by the multiport fuel injected 5.7L (350 cubic inch) LT1 Chevy Corvette-based V8 and 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission - lots of power. Tow package (but never a hitch) with 2.93 limited slip rear gears. Loaded up with lots of power goodies. Runs and drives out beautifully - drive anywhere!

NO RESERVE. Cheap delivery to Cleveland, Cincinnati, or Indianapolis on 11/18 possible - contact me first.

Rebuilt title (valid in all 50 states) for damage to hood now repaired, but tear in bumper remains (part not available new - causes many of these wagons to be totaled without significant damage.) I have "before" pics if my word isn't good enough.

Worried about gas prices? These cars are good for 24 miles per gallon highway! Don't just take my word on it - ask anyone who owns one.

Condition Report

ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing, ticking or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature and there's no check engine light. Good battery & charging system. Fresh oil change. Runs smooth & strong.

TRANSMISSION: Performs flawlessly. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors or noticeable leaks.

EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in great shape with no body rust-through or rust repair. The only issue is a small blister above left taillight as seen in pics. Other minor dings consistent with age. Above average. Paint: Paint is shiny and nice with a couple scratches consistent with age. A tiny bit above average, too. Other: Plastic bumpers are in good shape - both have small tears. Stainless side trim is nice with a couple small dings, all the rubber molding is present. Undercarriage is solid - light surface rust - see the pics. Door jambs and underhood sheet metal are solid in these hidden areas with NO rust blisters, but tailgate sill has some blisters. Solid frame all around. Glass is all good. Hubcaps are in great shape with no curb rash or pitting.

INTERIOR: The interior is in nice shape with minor wear consistent with miles. Seats, carpeting, dash, & cargo area are in very nice condition. A couple small headliner tears. No smoke odors - non-smoker's car. Above average interior.

ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, button horn, wipers, etc.) All the power stuff works including power windows, locks, dual power seats, hot heat & cold A/C (switched) through digital climate control, tilt wheel, autodim mirror, power mirrors, cruise control, am/fm cassette, power antenna, hatch release, keyless entry, rear wiper, and rear defroster all work.

DRIVEABILITY: Drives out great - tight, fast & smooth. Steering & suspension are tight, alignment is right. Brakes work well with newer linings, no noise, no vibration. Tires have about 40% tread remaining. Solid exhaust with no leaks. Rear end is quiet & limited slip works. Quick off the line, smooth and quiet on the highway with passing power galore. Nice driving car - no issues.

Car passed NY safety/emissions inspection 10/9/09.

Short version: Small deposit as listed (but fast) by overnight mail or Paypal within 24 hours. Balance in 5 days. I'll pick you up at the Geneva, NY bus station or meet you or your transporter by appointment. $145 administrative fee on this auction.
