This is a C&J MX frame for the XL250-350 engines from '76-78.  It is for the Centerport engines.  I bought this thinking that I would build it up but have changed my plans.  The frame itself is in good shape and needs some paint and some work.  The front tank mount pin (for either a CR250 or a MR250 tank) on the right side is broken off.  This would require a small piece of tubing threaded for 6mm in the center to be welded to the frame.  

The rear frame loop was also bent at some time and needs to be correctly repaired.  It was welded back on but the workmansiip is poor and it needs to be cut off and the tubing sleeved and rewelded.  I would suggest having me cut the frame loop off and shipping it with the loop in the package.  Since it has to be cut and repaired anyway, the extra 1 ft. in length will reduce the shipping costs by about 30%.

There is a little wear on the chain side of the swingarm where a sidestand used to rub on the arm.  There is no sidestand with the frame.

This frame will make a nice race bike with some minor work.  Excellent for AHRMA or AVDRA racing.  I have listed all of the faults that I have found on the frame, e-mail me with any questions.
