If you have a computer-controlled engine, this is the replacement distributor you need. All new parts are used to insure durability and performance. The brass terminal cap and rotor provide maximum conductivity. Nylon rotor hold down screws are used to prevent high RPM misfires. The distributor caps are available in blue or black.

(Not for the LT-1 Engine)

The distributor fits Chevy V8s, 87-93 with Remote Mounted Coil, & 87-96 Trucks, which have the 8 pin Dyna-Module built inside the distributor and have a remote mounted coil. 

 This unit is easy to install, plugging directly into your factory wiring. These computer distributors are polished for a high tech appearance. Each unit comes with oil impregnated brass bushings and are lubed for long lasting life. These distributors are also shimmed for proper end-play clearance to assure maximum magnetic pick-up coil inductance.

  The Screamin' Demon Coil is designed to produce an exceptional spark throughout the entire RPM range with virtually no drop in power. Stock coils are notorious for falling off as RPM goes up. Our Screamin' Demon Coil has been dyno tested providing 3 more horsepower at 5000 rpm over stock coils.

The Screamin' Demon has a brass terminal that your coil wire attaches to. The brass terminal is more conductive than the stock aluminum terminal and will resist corrosion longer. Plug gaps can be widened to .060" due to the energy of this coil. The wider spark plug gap will allow more spark energy into the combustion chambers providing more power and improved mileage. The Screamin' Demon is too "hot" for stock plug wires. Performance Distributors LiveWires are highly recommended
