Specifications for (MCC545) 

Material : Chrome steel , triple plated Copper / Nickel / Chrome

Thickness :  The average thickness of the steel used in our pulleys is .050 steel.

Diameter : 6 3/8 inches

Backspace : 2 3/4 inches

Grooves : 2

Application : Big Block Chevy engines with SHORT waterpump

Restriction : Will not work on most Corvette applications

Installation : Set pulleys on the engine or loosely mount them with bolts as to not scratch the pulleys then check for alignment to verify you have ordered the correct pulleys for your application .NOTE: Pulleys that are mounted and have washer or mounting marks on them cannot be returned. If you have any questions regarding which pulleys to order or about our pulleys feel free to email us

We get many questions regarding how to determine whether you have a long or short waterpump. A simple rule of thumb is that all Chevrolet engines big and small block with short style water pumps had drivers side alternator brackets and long waterpump has passenger side alternator brackets.

Be sure to determine the number of grooves you will need for the waterpump and/or crankshaft pulleys

If you would like the matching crankshaft pulley in 3 groove use part number MCC547

If you would like the matching alternator fan and pulley set use part number MCC561

If you have a keyway style power steering pump and would like a matching pulley for it use MCC923
