(MCC80) Small Block Ford HP Emblem Valve Covers

Specifications for (MCC80) 

Material : Chrome steel , triple plated Copper / Nickel / Chrome, With Phenolic Plastic Emblems.

Emblems : approximately 1/8" thick  and are ,heat and fuel resistant .They are adhered with a thermal adhesive then baked @ 260 degrees to set the emblem in place and cannot be removed without damaging them

Thickness :  These valve covers are stamped from approximately .040 thick steel.

Application :  Small Block Ford 260 - 289 - 302 - 351W engines

Restrictions : Will not work on later model 5.0L engines with fuel injection

Valve Covers : This set is factory height (approximately 3 1/2" tall) . Each valve cover has one hole in it for accessories. They CANNOT  be run with aftermarket roller rockers

Baffled : YES, these valve covers come with steel baffles in each

Gaskets : NO, these do not come with gaskets, Any Quality gasket made for the small block Ford will work on these valve covers

Valve Cover Accessories : Hold downs, breathers, PCV valves etc. DO NOT come with the valve covers but can be located on the left side links on this page and purchased separately . Each valve cover has 4 mounting holes so you will need 8, bolts or spreaders etc. when ordering for this set

Installation tips : When tightening your valve cover start on the low side and tighten in a cross pattern to the correct torque spec . Do not over tighten the valve covers when installing them!

If you would like this as a combo kit meaning valve cover and a 14 inch air cleaner use MCC62380

If you would like plain chrome  valve covers without emblems use part number MCC115
