EBC CLUTCH FRICTION PLATE KIT

FOR 1998 - 2000 YAMAHA WR 400 - FK FL FM

Part# CK2240 - Friction Plates Only

 EBC Clutches are totally Asbestos Free made from a cork based "anti-swell" facing impregnated with aluminium particles to reduce wear & heat fade. Kits are sold in pre-measured engine sets and should always be replaced in engine sets. USE ONLY MANUFACTURERS Drive case oils and avoid lead or other anti-friction additives. DO NOT USE FULLY SYNTHETIC OILS. SOAK PLATES in drive case oil before installing. EBC Clutch Springs are 10-15% stiffer than stock springs to avoid slip. Always check lever operating pressure for ease of clutch disengagement before riding or releasing motorcycle for use.

CAUTION – SAFETY WARNINGS FOR CONSUMERS

The following warnings now appear on the underside of our clutch packaging. For stocks in older packaging that do not display these safety warnings, we strongly recommend you photocopy these essential points. Never start a motorcycle whilst in gear with clutch depressed. Never reverse a motorcycle with the engine running, the machine in gear and clutch depressed. Hold front brake lever on when selecting gears from standstill. Never engage gears from a standstill with engine revs above 1500 rpm. Check oil levels regularly. When fitting heavy duty clutch springs acquaint yourself with increased hand pressure required to depress clutch before riding motorcycle.
