This 1978 Phaeton Coupe has had the luxury of being owned by its original new car owner Eula Schmidt of Robinson Illinois for 30 years. Eula Purchased the Phaeton new on 8/27/1978 and worshiped it thru 6/12/2003. When she parted with the Phaeton she only logged 38,692 odometer statement documented miles. Available late in 1978 was the Custom Phaeton Coupe and Sedan. The Phaeton top was supposed to reflect styling reminiscent of the Classic Cadillac Convertible, right down to authentic-looking welts and stitching. The Phaeton coupe featured Reduced Quarter Windows, plus Brushed Chrome Moldings. Phaeton script could be found on each rear quarter panel as identification. The car also featured Wire Wheel Discs, Accent Striping, 45/55 Dual Comfort Seats and Leather Seating Surfaces with Matching Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel.
