DETAILS
This package will allow you to listen to
and control all 150+ channels of Sirius satellite radio directly
through your factory radio. (See the application list below.) It
displays the same type of information (station #, song title, artist
name, etc) as the factory satellite kits, yet it costs less. The
vehicle-specific cabling DOES include a T-harness that will allow you
to retain factory options, if so equipped.
Unlike external tuners that clutter up your dash and attract thieves,
this interface allows control of Sirius satellite radio through your
existing factory radio. It is also directly connected to the factory
radio via the auxiliary input port on the back. That means you don't
have to rely on the poor performance of an FM modulater or cassette
adaptor. (Removal of the radio will be required for installation. We
have instructions for some vehicles. Please ask WITH your order and we
will include them if we can.)
The included auxiliary input cable has both RCA and stereo mini plugs.
You can use either (but not both at the same time) to add audio from
another source. This allows you to listen to DVD audio, an mp3 player,
an iPod, a CD changer, etc over the factory sound system and control
volume from the radio or steering wheel controls (if so equipped).
There is also an iPod cable. With this cable you can directly connect
your iPod using the docking port on the bottom. You will then have full
text and control of the iPod at the radio. It will also charge the
iPod, unless noted below. Please note that you can only have two input sources connected at one time, counting the satellite tuner. This means you can have either the iPod cable OR the auxiliary cable connected in addition to the satellite tuner.

Peripheral

PAC
parts have always been manufactured by the same company and have
differed only in appearance and part number. Now they have joined and
some product ID's are changing or just plain going away. Consequently,
inventory is changing. This is why we list both the Peripheral
and PAC part number. You may receive parts that look a little
different but perform EXACTLY
the same and work in the EXACT SAME vehicles and radios that are listed
here in this ad.
