A word about Vehicle History Reports : Vehicle history reports such as Carfax and Autocheck are extremely valuable tools in helping you compare vehicles. However, they are not perfect. Experian owns Autocheck and just as they routinely make mistakes with your credit report histories they make mistakes on the Vehicle history reports. The only difference is that correcting your credit history report is possible by law. However vehicle history reports never get corrected. Please use common sense when analyzing the vehicle history reports:

- We once had a vehicle that had a transmission seal replaced done under manufacturer warranty. Carfax was reporting that a manual transmission was replaced for an automatic transmission (this is impossible to be done). 

Some vehicles maybe subject to Autocheck making the following report:

 "AutoCheck reports that this vehicle was previously sold at a wholesale auto auction with a disclosure that the vehicle has frame/unibody damage or had frame/unibody damage."

these annoucements are routinely made by auctions for many reasons such as jack marks, adjusted fenders etc. Due to the amount of vehicles auctioned off and the cost associated with major inspections; auctions make these annoucements very frequently.  

So please use vehicle history report information with a grain of salt and common sense.

Frequent Carfax amd Autocheck Vehicle History Glossary of terms:

-ACCIDENT REPORTED SLIGHT DAMAGE REPORTED = Any Accident valued at $1000 or less (most States)

-AUCTION ANNOUNCED AS FLEET/LEASE = Vehicles that were previously leased to a private party or company.

-DUPLICATE TITLE ISSUED: If an original title is lost a new duplicate title is issued.

-LIEN ISSUED: Banks and Lenders record liens until the vehicles are paid off.  

-""AutoCheck reports that this vehicle was previously sold at a wholesale auto auction with a disclosure that the vehicle has frame/unibody damage or had frame/unibody damage." 

Auctions routinely make annoucements such as a unibody repair or frame repair on any vehicle that has had a panel realined, rebolted or rewelded even though no accident might exist  due to certain states having strict requirements. Jack marks on frames are rountinely reported as frame damage at many auctions due to the high volume of vehicles auctioned off .

If you back out of the deal for any reason then this deposit is owed to us to cover our expenses, time, and effort to make this auction possible, as well as holding the vehicle for you for several days. Non-paying bidders who do not initially agree to pay this fee will be sent to a collection service to aid us in retrieving this fee.
