Up for bid are Two (2) Champion Racing Spark Plugs for Ducati 749/749R/998/998R/999/999R Testastretta & 848/1098/1098S/1098R Testastretta Evoluzione Superbikes and the Monster S4RS Testastretta (10mm plug).  These are not some gimmicky Split-Fire or Iridium-tipped crap - these are the real deal, Factory-spec racing spark plugs.  Referred to as "surface gap" plugs, you can see in the photo these spark plugs have no electrode in the classic sense.  Due to the lack of an electrode protruding into the combustion chamber (see photos), flame propagation is not "redirected" around the electrode as with a normal spark plug, which in turn produces a more thorough and even combustion, etc, etc.  

Not only do these plugs offer the potential for improved idling, throttle response, and midrange, they are also nearly impervious to pre-ignition since the center electrode and insulator tip operate extremely cold (no heat range rating).   However, the trade-off for this performance is a slightly reduced service life.  These plugs are designed for wfo racing conditions, hence the recommended replacement interval on the street is 4000 miles or less, depending on your riding habits.
