Up for auction is a show condition 1955 Chevy 210 Gasser car. This car is very nice no matter where you look. The car has had a great deal of money spent on it in every aspect, no money was spared when this car was built. The body of this car is extremely straight and does very well at every car show it attends. The paint is a base coat clear coat starting with an orange base coat, some very subtle ghost flames on the front end and down the sides topped off with several coats of clear and then color sanded and buffed to a very flat and deep shine. The car has been painted for a few years but looks like it was finished this spring. The exterior stainless trim has all been replaced or polished to a better than new finish, the chrome bumpers and other exterior chrome is in show condition, looks brand new. All of the glass was replaced with a new smoked glass and is in new condition. The interior was all replaced and is in better than new condition. The interior chrome and stainless work is impressive and will suit the pickiest of people. The car has 977 miles on it since completion, less than 500 on the engine and is monitored by a set of Dakota Digital gauges and speedometer. There is also a digital clock on the passenger side dash and a hidden stereo in the glove box that is hooked to an Alpine amp and a JVC 12 disc CD changer in the trunk. The power steering and the tilt steering column make the car a joy to drive. All of the wireing from front to back has been replaced. There is a 4 point cage in the rear of the car but does not interfere with the room in the back seat, the car still has a full back seat. The car is equipped with Simpson racing seat belts. The car is powered by a very healthy but driveable 408hp 355 engine. The engine is a 4 bolt main block, steel crank, forged pistons, Reed camshaft, Dart 200cc aluminum heads, polished dual plane intake, Holley 750 CFM double pumper carb, MSD Billet distributor, MSD Digital 6-plus ignition box and a set of Hooker Super Comp Ceramic coated headers. If the engine isn't enough for you it is fitted with a Super Power shot NOS set up that is ready to go but has not been used on this engine. The car is fueled by an electric Holley fuel pump and regulated by a Holley fuel regulator. This engine sounds as good as the car looks. It hits hard at an idle but is very mild mannered to drive and runs cool on hot days. The car has been driven in a couple of parades and ran cool with no problem. It is cooled by a large aluminum radiator, a standard flex fan and has a back up electric fan in front of the radiator. This car is set up to show, race or just drive on the nice days. It is a great car and has been very dependable while demanding a great deal of attention where ever it goes. The transmission is a Turbo 400 with a shift kit and a 4000-4500 rpm stall converter and is shifted by a B&M Pro ratchet shifter that works like it should. The rear end is a Ford 9" fitted with a posi unit and some 4:88 gears. The car is very quick and is a blast to drive in town. There are some Chrome ladder bars and Koni coil over shocks that help get the power to the ground. The brake system consists of disc brakes up front and drum in the rear. Wheels are American racing 15" with MT ET Street 30x13.5's on the rear. Please take time to study the photos, you will see that there is a lot of extra detail throughout the interior and engine compartment, like the chrome kick panel vents, polished stainless radiator core support cover, chrome alternator, Omni battery in the trunk and so on........There is also a custom car cover from California car covers that says 1955 Gasser that will also come with the car. We do have an enclosed 2001 22' Haulmark trailer that is also custom painted with the car on the side that I will sell seperate to whom ever buys the car, or I will list if for sale once the car is gone. If you would like to see picts of the trailer just email me your email address and I will be glad to send them to you. The car can be made available for personal inspection at almost anytime.
