                                           NO RESERVE

THE FLAT BLACK PICTURES ON EBAY WITH THE TUNNEL RAM AND SCOOP ARE OF THE CAR AS IT
SITS RIGHT NOW.

Selling my 6 year long project due to health issues and moving so it HAS TO GO.
About 80% completed my loss your gain.
I have well over $14,000 invested in this car.
I know I'm not going get that back
Anyone who knows about old cars knows it is easy to spend that kind of money
Most of the hard work and big expense is done
                           9999  not the actual mileage
If you are looking for 100 point restoration THIS IN NOT THE CAR for you. I have
fixed up and replaced more things then I could ever list but this is no resto rod.
it is just a cool old loud fun to drive hot rod.
I have so many hours and so much money into this car it will be impossible to list
it all, but I will do my honest best to list the good and bad on this car. Some of
the work was already done before I got it, so I will list only the things I have
done and know for sure.
When I got this car it was in really bad shape and it had some work done but I
cannot be responsible for that work, the welding of the side motor mounts and the
brackets for the transmission are not my handy work. Again I have driven the car
with no problems but since I did not do the welding I just want it known. The motor
and transmission sit level and I have had a load on it so the mounts do seem fine.

Yes it runs yes you can drive it. but it would I take it on a long trip, probably
not because it has never had a good long shake down trip, but then again you may be
able to drive it across the USA who knows.

Let me start by saying I have been working on the car for over 6 years now so when
I say new parts they are anywhere from 1 to 6 years old but there were new when
installed. This car has less the 600 miles on it since I got it back on the road.

If the parts were re-manufactured and not new I will say so

If I installed used parts I will also say so.

So please remember all the work that has been done has been done over a 6 year
period so new may mean, new 1 year ago 4 years ago or 5 years etc.

But the car has never been driven more then to a few local car shows and test
drives.

Ok I will start with the things that are NOT DONE or NEED COMPLETION

1. It needs a complete interior it has seats with seat covers and some cheap carpet
but nothing much other than that.

2. It needs a little body work done. There are some holes on the metal the goes
between the rear bumper, the trunk also has some holes in it.

3. The brakes need adjustment everything has been replaced but it needs adjusted.

4. The Saginaw 4 speed transmission sometimes is hard shifting into 3rd gear and
3rd gear only it is not the shifter I think it has a bad synchronizer but I'm not
positive.

5. Most of the glass, side’s rear, and front are not very good and should be
replaced.

6. It has no grille and the chrome is not in the best condition again drivable
looks ok but not great.

7. The horn does not work (not hooked up I do not know if it even works)

8. It was a factory 6 cyl 3 speed on the column car.

9. It has No radio and needs a new battery

10. It has no heater (core is there) but nothing is hooked up.

11. Even the good aftermarket chrome will need a good cleaning from sitting. I do
start the car monthly and drive around the bock to keep it from drying out the seal
etc. rear bumper painted front bumper fair to poor condition

12. Wiper motor not hooked up it May or may not work I'm not sure, no switch or
blades or wiper arms Wiper motor not on car. I'm not sure if I still have it

13. It needs a going over and has some nuts and bolts that need tightened.

14. The transmission cross member came with the car it appears to be homemade and
should be checked as far as the welding it was not done by me it seems fine and it
has given me no problems.

15. missing the chrome that goes around the rear window and the rear small windows
go up and down but they seem like they are off the track or something.

OK Now the Good.
1. It has a Brand new summit GM 350 engine (not rebuilt) with a new summit brand
tunnel ram and two new 450 carburetors ,a new water pump, new starter, new chrome
valve covers, new chrome timing gear cover, new black oil pan, new copper header
gaskets, used headers, new cherry bomb mufflers, new points ,condenser, distributor
cap and wires, two dip sticks one left one right. new electric fuel pump. New
summit brand scoop. New side motor mounts welded in but not by me may need to be
checked. I have driven the car with no problems but I did not weld them.

2. New master cylinder

3. New power brake booster and brake drums

4. re-manufactured brake shoes, and wheel cylinders

5. It has a 1978 used corvette bell housing with New hydraulic slave cylinder it
has some ground out parts in the bell housing around the area where the clutch fork
is but it does not affect it mechanically it works great.

6. New wilwood floor mounted clutch pedal and new master cylinder

7. New pressure plate, throw out bearing and re-manufactured clutch, rebuilt Hurst
shifter all new bushings etc.

8. New wiring harness (with the new style small blade fuses) new custom off on
ignition switch with secret kill button

9. new tachometer, new oil pressure gauge, new volt gauge, new temperature gauge,
new fuel gauge all working and with lights.

10. Radiator was removed flushed cleaned and all leaks repaired and painted, it has
a used electric cooling fan.

11. All new body bushings, all new body mounts front to rear,

12. All new rocker panels left and right and smoothed out with body filler

13. New driver’s side partial rear quarter panel installed and passenger side
repaired and smoothed out with body filler

14. Both front fenders replaced used NOT NEW.

15. New sheet steel floors welded in NOT OEM floors 4x8 sheet steel bent and welded
in.

16. New aftermarket power window motors partially installed needs completion

17. Shaved door handles and new aftermarket remote door openers and poppers both
left and right.

18. New summit fuel cell in trunk with hold down straps (needs to be finished not
completely bolted down)

19. 4 new cargar mags with a set 4 locking lugs (need good cleaning)

20. New tires all the way around

21. Two coats of primer sealer, one coat of gray primer, two coats of flat black
paint

22. New rear taillight lens. The front turn signals are not factory.

23. New front shocks and coil springs ,used rear air shocks. Driver’s side front
shock and spring installed passenger side not installed but comes with car.

24. All the extra parts go with the car and there are quite a bit, there are
plywood door panels ready to be upholstered and they come with black naugahyde to
cover them, there is a new grant steering wheel, inner door handles and lots of
other parts.

With that said the buyer is responsible to pick up or to ship the car. I will help
any way I can, but all the cost is on the buyer.

There are now warranties or guarantees implied or other the winner must leave a 10%
non-refundable deposit.

You must pay in cash, certified check, or bank draft

No personal checks no business checks no overseas shipping....
and if you want to stop by and here it run let me know. I live
about 15 miles from Baltimore MD
As I said in the ad including the purchase price of the car I have well over
$14,000 in the car not including my labor which is 100s of hours.
I know I won't get that money back but I also won't give it away.
I have over $7,000 in just the engine, tunnel ram, carburetors, tire and rims
not to include the car itself and the tons of other stuff it has.
Anyone who works with old cars knows this..
So think about it when bidding. Like I said I'm not going to make any money on the
car and I know I won't even break even but I won't give it away either.

Go to www.picturetrail.com/clay5769 For lots of pictures
Of how the car was when I got it and all the work I have done.
but like I said any and all 57 parts I have new old and taken off the car will go
with the car to the winning bidder
.
AND AS I STATED IN THE AD I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THE CAR FOR OVER SIX YEARS AND
SOME OF THE NEW PARTS ARE ANY WHERE FROM 1 TO 6 YEARS OLD AS STATED IN THE EBAY AD

WHEN THE PARTS WERE INSTALLED THERE WERE NEW. 1 TO 6 YEARS AGO.

ALSO AS I STATED IN THE AD A LOT OF THE CHROME THAT WAS INSTALLED WILL NEED
CLEANING . THIS IS BECAUSE OF HOW LONG THIS PROJECT HAS TAKEN (6 YEARS)

TERM REMANUFACTURED THOSE PARTS ARE ALSO ANY WHERE FROM 1 TO 6
YEARS OLD NOW.

The webpage pictures are somewhat confusing, the pictures of the car in blue paint
and brown fenders and the silver rear quarter panels are the beginning of the
repairs to the car. the pictures show the different things I have done to the car.
some pictures show the car white, some show gray, some show a single 4bbl carb,
some show a tunnel ram and two 4bbl carbs, some show two air cleaners,

the pictures on the website are only to show all the different stages of repair
and also the different looks of the car

IT NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING FROM SITTING

IT GETS STARTED REGULARLY BUT IT JUST SITS FOR THE MOST PART

IF it does not sell this time I will not re-list

I'm not going to sell it at 75% 80% lose on the $14,000 + I have in it.

I will not take any offers it will go under a cover

And it will be stored until I can get it transported to my new home.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding
