Unfortunately, here is my 1955 Bel-Air Model 210 Sedan. Buying a new home, need the cash! I purchased this rust free Tennessee car and have enjoyed it up to know. I recently had the 700R4 Automatic overdrive transmission rebuilt fully w/ a new torque converter too. I installed a solid lock up solenoid for the overdrive so theres no need to shift into overdrive. It does it automatically once get on the highway. Nice when your running 4:11 gears in the rear-end. Performance, yet you can cruise at 75 MPH without it screaming. The 327 is out of early 62 Vette, code numbers indicate it to be 350 HP version. It has the large valve, "double hump camel heads". I also installed a brand new aluminium high flow radiator at the same time that I put the new trans in. The car itself was freshly frame-off restored just before I purchased it alittle over a year ago. Every piece of chrome on the body is new and high quality with no visible scratches or blemishes that I can see. The interior was also fresh at the same time, its a low end cloth with that stitched pleat look. Headliner also new and tight. All the glass is new and has that blueish green tint. Drivers window does has a small hairline crack that runs all the way through it. A new window is just about $250 and is very easy to change. The frame was media blasted and painted chassis black. All new brakes, including new drilled, vented front discs w/ new GM metric front calipers and rear drums. New Master cylinder and booster. New Lokar gas pedal made for the 55 bel-air w/ matching throttle cable. No heat or A/C yet. No wiper arms, motor or switch. No radio yet either. Has original non operating quartz clock. Fuel guage works, but its opposite what the fuel readings really are. Blinkers work, but one instrument panel bulb is out, head lights work, brake/tail lights work fine, sorry, no horn. Speedo doesnt work, Its probably a bad speedo. Has a new speedo cable. There is a new horn under the drivers fender, but it needs a horn button. These are all easy fixes. Original steering wheel and horn ring. Could use a new carpet. This one is alittle dirty. A proffesional shampoo might even do the trick. It just has a couple of small stains. The rest of the interior is clean and new. New interior dash trim and chrome on the inside around window and kobs are all fine. All window go up and down relativley smooth as well as the crank out windows. Drivers window has a fine hairline crack running through it. A new window is about $250. Has a new complete wiring harness, new trunk insulation under trunk lid. All new brake lines too. Has a brand new set of PYPES full 304 Stainless 2-1/2" true dual exhaust w/ "X" pipe and polished stainless exhaust tips. Sounds nice! New Ceramicoated short tube headers w/ no leaks! New gas tank. New 17" Torque Thrust aluminium wheels w/ new low profile tires. Paint is a beautiful metallic blue base coat, clear coat, similar to the 86 I-ROC blue w/ a white two tone. No orange peel, real glossy. Body is straight and true. Trunk lid is freshly painted in white and clear coated by a professional body shop. There are a few small chips of paint here and there the size of a pin head, one on the front hood, one on the PS fender and maybe one or two more here and there, these are small and barely noticeable. Absolutely no rust or dents! No leaks or overheating issues. I think it might need a new gas tank sending unit gasket because If you fill up the gas tank all the way, you get a very slow seap of fuel at the sending unit. It stops once the fuel goes down to about 7/8 to 3/4 full. OH, one last thing, Im including my custom handcrafted wooden 55 Bel-air Mailbox to winning bidder too! The picture of it is at the end of picture samples. Please ask any other questions before bidding. Non refundable deposit of $1000 must be received via pay pal within 3 days of auction's end. I wish I didnt have to sell it, but im trying to buy a bigger house so it must go! My loss, your gain. This car is definately not a daily driver quality, but not quite at the show car level either. It wouldnt take much to put it there though. Ive tried to describe this car as accurately as I could. Ive a been a classic car enthusiast for 20 some odd years and also own my own classic car/ hot rod shop in Rhode Island. This is my own personal car so Its very near and dear to me! Thanks for listening and best of luck.
