You are about to bid on a very, very nice little Chevy K-5 Blazer in very nice original condition. I just replaced the transmission about 10 months ago along with a new distributor, carburetor, distributor cap, plugs and plug wires. The four wheel drive works great. I just took it up hunting about two weeks ago and had no troubles getting where I wanted to go. The tires still have lots of tread left on them. There are a few very minor dings in the body and although it was repainted about 10 years ago, the clear coat is starting to peel a bit on the hood and tailgate. the interior is a little dirty but has the original carpet with no holes under the gas pedal. The engine was replaced about 11 years ago and still runs very strong with about 72,000 miles on it. The oil has been changed every 3000 -3500 miles and is current. It will need a new windshield washer pump as the one in it does not work. I will probably need a power steering pump pretty soon too. I just started having a little trouble with it in the last few days. It is starting to make a little noise when I turn, I added some fluid but it does not seem to help a bunch. But it did help some.
This is a very good little climber, and it runs very good. I hate to see it go but I need a smaller 4x4 that gets better gas mileage as I am now working about 80 miles from home and need a bit cheaper form of transportation.
NOTE : The actual mileage is about 230,000 on the odometer, but only about 72,000 on new engine.
