1969 Chevrolet Truck This is a one-owner, truck, with 80,870 original miles, garage-kept at the same address since it was purchased on February 19, 1969. Purchased at Lew Williams Chevrolet. I am selling this for my neighbor. She provided as much information as she could remember. Mileage: 80870 Engine: V8 307 cubic inches (Stamping on front of engine 0903UA = September 3, 1969 production date. M/T Truck, 200 horsepower) Transmission: 3 speed manual (Date stamp: 11 – 17 – 8 = November 17, 1968) ½ ton pick up Long bed, standard cab Unmolested, completely original Chevrolet C-10 truck, which to the best of the widow’s recollection has the original engine, transmission, and running gears. Transmission is a 3-speed, column shift. I took it for a test drive, and was amazed at how well it drove. Keep in mind, this is a 1969 Chevy truck, so it does not have power steering or power brakes. However, it stopped quite easily, and steered without any shimmy or other issues. Original AM radio is still in the dash. I’m not sure if it simply doesn’t work, or has a fuse blown. The antenna broke off in her garage. Although the tires have good tread life left, they do show some minor crazing from age. The widow’s husband passed away almost five years ago, so the truck has only been started from time to time since, with the exception of one trip to the dump for a neighbor. Interior appears to be completely original. Driver’s side of the bench seat is worn. The knob for the window crank is missing. I have done my best to describe this truck. If you have any specific questions, please do not hesitate to click the “Ask Seller a Question”. Reserve is very reasonable. She just wants it to go to a good home.
