Here is my very nice 67 truck,it has been in Alabama all its years,so you know it has no rust problems,no patch panels any were that i can see,original floor pans,rockers,cab corners,bed floor,the bottoms of doors,bottoms of front fenders,under the battery bracket, all solid,there is minor surface rust on frame,it was painted 3 years ago the original color,GM called it red ,but it looks like it has a lot of orange to me, nice color,it gets attention,the paint job was a good one ,but it was never finished,I wet sanded and buffed the paint, made that dull looking paint really shine,I then ordered new chrome rear view mirrors door handles,locks,custom cab emblems,gas cap,rear bumper/bumper brackets,license bracket,tag light ,then installed ,then it was weather seals ,kit included door seals,track inserts top glass seals, window seals /fuzzys,anti rattle kits,door rubber stops, tailgate rubber stops.also ordered new arm rests,inside door handles,window crank handles,new chrome bowtie door seal plates. The interior looks good,door panels are very nice,seat, dash pad,are nice,rubber mat very nice,All the gauges work in the truck,installed new speedometer gear .new choke cable,cigarette lighter,dimmer switch,headlight switch,two new halogen headlights,turn signals,horn, heater,fan,wipers all work. I have a good heater controll, not installed yet,there is a lever broke on the one in truck,but it stills works.I installed a nice Jensen am/fm hi power cassette in the dash in the original radios place ,no cutting, I have the original radio,also installed stereo speakers in the place of the original dash speaker,again no holes cut in doors or kick panels.The motor is from a 87 conversion van that was wrecked,it had 58k correct miles showing /the transmission is a 700 R4 overdrive rebuilt with 15k on it. The motor and trans work great, no rattles ,ticks,good oil pressure.I put new valve seals on the heads,Holley aluminum intake,Holley avenger electric choke carburator, Accell electronic distributor,chrome valve covers, 14 inch breather with a K/N rechargeable filter. The tires are new white letter 245 75 r16 ,rims are very nice. The exhaust is truck hedders to glass packs ,2 1/4 inch aluminized pipes out under the rear bumper,chrome duel tips all new ,has a real nice sound.The brakes on this truck have just been gone thru,turned all the drums,all new brake shoes,new rear wheel clyinders,rebuilt front clyinders,new front flexable brake hoses also the rear flexable hose,almost all the metal lines replaced,installed new powerbrake booster,new duel master clyinder, yes they work good, this truck has had the original style power steering added to it ,new hoses installed, it looks and works like the original. I found out I could get a new white tonneau cover for it ,so had to have it ,it is a rail system that lifts up with hydraulic shocks to assist. These 1967 fleetside short beds with the big back window, custom cab trucks are the hottest collector truck, first year of the body style change,no marker lights,this truck was ordered this way,glove box data sheet shows this,best looking front end,also best looking grill. 30 years in body/paint also mechanics,it will be as described,all work described was done in the last 6 months, less than 1500 miles,call or email 660 355 4571 aft.5pm c.t.
these ,67 short bed fleetsides, with the big back glass trucks are hard to come by,thats why they are rare,it also is a factory v/8 CE in the vin shows that,and factory automatic.
