Vehicle History Report Summary for 1969 Chevrolet Camaro 302, DZ, X77
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This is a completely restored 1969 Daytona Yellow X77 with the original matching numbers. 302, DZ, 4 speed
I am the third owner of this beautiful car. It was originally a Texas car, last registered there in 1977. A friend of mine bought the car, brought it to California and did a total restoration. It was first registered in California in 2002. When restoration began the odometer showed approximately 38,000 miles. It took nearly 3 years to restore. The odometer was set to 3002 miles when restoration was completed. I bought the car and moved it to Arizona in November of 2007. I have all the license plates that have been on the car. The paint, interior and engine have been completely restored to the original factory condition and the car is absolutely rust free. I've replaced the original DZ carburetor with another Holley carb, BUT I'VE KEPT THE ORIGINAL DZ CARB. The front tires/wheels are the original size, but the rear tires/wheels are 1" wider...easily converted back to the original size rear tires. I have kept some of the original parts: original water pump, front disc brake assembly, manuals and they are included. There is not a spare tire in the trunk, but I have the original jack. The engine has been totally gone through, using the original parts and quality replacement parts, where necessary. It has approximately 3,000 miles on the car since being rebuilt. The frame has been painted as part of the restoration process. Everything works on this car and it's in great operating condition. The interior has been totally restored using almost every original part. The factory am/fm radio, gauges and instruments all are in good working order. The exterior paint is in excellent condition, but it was not a $20k paint job. You probably have a lot of questions about this car and I always recommend that you have it inspected by a professional. I have this car stored in Arizona and I'm in California....You can contact Mike Butler at 602-400-6325 with any questions and to set an appointment for inspection. I have set a realistic reserve price on this car and I know that whoever wins the bidding on this magnificent piece of automotive history, will be very pleased.
