Beautifully Restored  1969 Camaro

350 V-8, 4 Speed!

"The 1969 Camaro carried over the previous year's drive train and major mechanical components, but all-new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid, gave the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with a heavy "V" cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider, more aggressive look. This styling would serve for the 1969 model year only. Collectors often debate the merits of smooth, rounded lines of 1967 and 1968 model versus the heavily creased and sportier looks of the 1969, but the '69 remains the most sought after."

According to the previous owner, this was an original Arizona car until 1987 and completely restored in 2003.  This is a fairly rare car in that only 25% of all '69 Camaros had  factory air conditioning, even more rare is factory air with a 4- speed.  Please let all the photos load, (there are over 90) to see the outstanding condition of this classic Chevy!  The exterior, paint, trim and chrome are show quality!  The interior is essentially new!  The undercarriage is incredibly solid, clean and dry with no issues.  The engine is a completely rebuilt 350 small block with a mild cam, Edelbrock carb and Edelbrock intake manifold, it also has headers and Thrush Turbo mufflers with dual exhaust.  The transmission is a Muncie 4 -Speed manual, the rear is a 10 bolt non Posi (not sure of gear ratio) The car has power steering, power front disc brakes, factory air conditioning, front seat/shoulder belts and rear seat belts, vinyl roof, AM/FM aftermarket stereo, Auto Gage gauges and a Super Pro tachometer.  Rounding out the package are some great looking Crager SS wheels with 235/60R-15 tires front and rear.  All gauges, heater, lights, radio, signals and wipers are fully operational.  This is an awesome '69 Camaro that rides, handles and sounds terrific that is sure to take home some hardware at your next car show.  We have a copy of the Arizona title and the air conditioning components that will be included in the sale.

Please remember that this car is now 40 years old and not perfect.  This was originally an A/C equipped car, but the components have been removed, the grill surround was not painted and the headlight trim pieces were removed because the owner preferred the blackout look, there are a few very minor imperfections in the paint and the drivers door sticks.
