| Description |
|
For sale is a very nice 1967
Chevrolet Camaro Coupe with 87595 miles showing on the odometer.
This car has a built / date correct 327ci SBC / 397hp (dyno'd) with Muncie
M21 4-speed manual transmission and 10-bolt rear end. Engine
components to mention are HEI ignition, ceramic coat Hedman headers,
Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor and air
cleaner top with K&N air filter, aluminum radiator with dual Spal
electric fans, aluminum water pump, aluminum pulleys, chrome alternator,
and an Optima Red Top battery. This car was completely restored and
completed last year. Almost every part of this car is new and in
very good condition. Motor and transmission have approximately 1500
miles on them since installed. As a matter of fact, all mechanical
components on this car are new or have less than 1500 miles on them.
This Camaro has Hotchkis
suspension all the way around with new springs, shocks and hardware.
The black deluxe interior of the car is in very good condition as
well. No tears, rips, cracks, holes, or fading of the seats, seat
covers, door panels, dash pad, headliner, carpeting, console, etc.
Everything is in very good condition. The car looks great under the
hood and inside of the trunk. Exterior of the car is in good
condition as well. Paint was done about a year and a half ago.
This car sits on all (4) fairly new 14 inch Camaro Rally wheels with center
caps and trim rings. For rubber, this car has Firestone Redline
F70-14's on the front and rear. All (4) tires on this car are in
fair condition. We even have the Protecto-Plate and the original
owners manual. This car is very nice and is a
must see for any GM muscle car and/or Camaro enthusiast.

Review of the Collector Car
Market –
Commentary from the Owner
The
opportunity has never been better to purchase a collector car. As
the stock market declines, more investors are looking to put their money
into hard assets that they control. Like gold and silver, collector
cars have worldwide appeal, and accelerate in value even as the stock
market declines.
As
many of you may remember, in 1987, we saw the worst stock market decline
since the Great Depression. In the next 12-24 months, however, the
value of collector cars skyrocketed – many doubling and tripling in
value. For example, a Jaguar E-Type convertible, then a $20,000 car,
increased in price to $60,000-$80,000. Ferraris selling for $200,000
quickly became $1 million motorcars.
Again
in 1991, as the Gulf War raged on, we saw a recession at home. Once
more, these cars saw an immediate increase in value, even as the market
declined. Unlike the stock market, you control these assets, and
they have never had a $0 value, so they continue to be in high demand.
These
investments can provide you with both the pride of ownership and the
pleasure of showing and driving. Now is the time to buy these great
assets – as the stock market continues to decline, these secure
investments will continue to increase in value. Rare and sought
after models like the one shown here will provide both years of enjoyment
and a stable, if not profitable return.
Sincerely,
Gary
Hankinson, President
