1967 Factory RS Camaro

This is a very, very solid RS Camaro, particularly from a mechanical standpoint.  Originally this was a Granada Gold RS with black standard interior and a black vinyl top - per cowl tag of course.  Most of the work on this car has been performed over the last 5 years at which time there was less than 5000 miles put on the car.  I have receipts equaling $17,000 available to the winning bidder.  Estimate at least $35,000 invested in this car.  Below is a breakdown of what this car has to offer and what has been done over this time period.

Engine

• 406 sbc
• Dyno tuned at 450 hp at the crank (I have this documentation.  Previous owner claimed 485+ hp.)
• Scat nodular crank
• Keith Black rods and pistons, 10:1
• Comp Cams 292/.501
• Roller rockers
• Moroso 7 qt oil pan
• Aluminum Edelbrock performer RPM heads with Victor Jr. intake, port matched
• Holley 750 dp Street HP carb with Holley Blue fuel pump, aluminum fuel line and fuel pressure gauge
• Mallory Comp 9000 distributor and coil
• K&N blow through air cleaner, cold air intake
• Aluminum black Chevrolet valve covers
• March billet serpentine conversion pulley system

Drivetrain

• Tremec TKO600 5 speed transmission with manual conversion package from Classic Chevy 5 speed ($3,200)
• Lakewood scattershield
• Centerforce dual friction clutch and pressure plate
• Aluminum flywheel
• Factory 12 bolt posi with new Eaton 3 series carrier and Richmond 3.55 gears
• Hurst shifter stick and black 5speed knob
• New clutch, brake pedals and pads, linkage, etc

Suspension

• Shocks, springs, bearings, tie rods all replaced or rebuilt
• Front disc brake kit
• Master cylinder

• AGR 12:1 fast ratio steering box with new pitman arm, etc

Exterior

• Red with black stripes.  NOT show paint.  I don't want to mislead.  As you can tell by the photos, however, it looks great from 10-15 foot.  It will definitely turn heads!  Bubbling at rear quarters/roof.  Otherwise paint is respectable, but certainly not perfect.
• Glass and moldings average; not perfect
• New front and rear bumpers
• New tail light lenses and bezels as well as the reverse and parking lights/bezels
• New emblems
• RS moldings like new.  Grill headlight doors just fine.
• New window felts and door jamb windlace
• Coys wheels (no curb checks).  Beautiful. 
• Tires excellent condition
• RS headlights are not functioning electronically, only manual

If you want an extremely fast/quick car that is as reliable and driveable as they come, then you have found a good one here.  Burn the tires through multiple gears if you desire, or just cruise down the freeway at 65 mph turning at 1900 rpm - your choice.  The exterior is decent, but certainly not show.  The interior is very respectable and holds that original look and feel.  You could drive this car anywhere.  The responses you get on the road are awesome; this car has a great street tough rumble.  Good luck!
