Ultra Rare 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z11 Pace car RS/SS w/ #'s matching L78 396/375 hp engine, factory 4speed car, 12 bolt 3.73 posi, had high dollor frame off restoration years back, shows very nice, well kept and very solid straight car. Runs and drives excellent, very tight and a pleasure to drive! Factory U17 tach & gauges, console, tilt wheel, rare shoulder belts. Car looks as good as pictures, this car came from a very good friend of mine on a LS6 trade we did and I had to through in a 68 Z/28 Camaro, he had got this L78 Pace car years back on a $675k+ land deal and this car was the down payment. Just bought new home and moving so as much as I like this car...here we are. This is a really nice car! The engine casting # 3955272, large plug by oil filter (4bolt main blocks only), block casting date B 15 9, front pad T0312JH and part of vin 19N62XXXX that matches cars vin. Pulled valve cover (which has drippers) on passenger side and head casting # 3919840 and casting date A 29 9 I also verified wiring harness has unspliced gauge package wiring to clock, tach and console gauges, and ZL2 ducted hood wiring, and firewall has ZL2 wiring hole and grommet above main harness, also the hidden RS vac line hole and factory stamped (not cut out) RS backup light holes. Car also has muncie only speedo cable hole behind distributor, crossmember has dimple for BB, and shifter has BB mounting bracket, and BB frame mounts, BB heater box and core. Paint is near flawless, color sanded and hand rubbed and very very straight body lines and gaps. This car looks just like pictures in person "sharp", I can't say enough about the way the car handles, drives and runs. Starts right up no noises, no smoke. Just a great car!
