YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1993 CAMARO Z28 PACECAR. THIS IS ONE OF 645 TOTAL BUILT,AND ONE OF 469 WITH T-TOPS. THIS IS CAR#606 TOTAL BUILT US/CAN. OR THE 588TH US CAR. BECAUSE OF THE LIMITED NUMBER OF THESE CARS BUILT,NOT ALL STATES OR DEALERS GOT ONE TO SELL. THIS WAS ONE OF 23 ISSUED TO THE STATE OF TENNESSE. IT WAS BUILT FOR THE 77TH RUNNING OF THE INDY 500 ON MAY 30TH 1993,AND THAT RACE WAS WON BY EMMERSON FITTIPALDI. CAR WAS BUILT ON APRIL 27TH 1993,AND FIRST OWNER TOOK IT TO THE RACE,THEN TOOK IT TO FLORIDA WHERE IT STAYED UNTIL IT WAS SOLD AND CAME TO PA. WITH 48500 MILES ON IT. AFTER THAT ONLY 500 MILES WERE PUT ON IT TO SHOWS ETC. AND IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGED.THERE WERE NO CONVERTIBLES BUILT IN 1993,AND LEATHER WAS NOT AN OPTION IN 1993,SO THIS CAR HAS EVERY OPTION AVAILABLE THAT YEAR. AND ONLY ONE 6SPD. WAS BUILT SPECIAL FOR BORG WARNER THAT YEAR AND USED AS A PARADE CAR,SO YOU COULD ONLY GET AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. INCLUDED ARE PICTURES OF THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER(25,990.00 NEW),PAPERWORK,DOCUMENTATION ETC. AND CAR HAS A CLEAN AUTOCHECK/CARFAX TYPE HISTORY REPORT WITH ALL RECORDS OF MILEAGE AND NO ACCIDENTS THATS INCLUDED AS WELL. THIS CAR RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL PAINT , DECALS, RIMS, EXHAUST ETC. AND IS VERY CLEAN AND RUST FREE. ONLY THE BLACK ON THE ORIGINAL PAINT HAS SOME MINOR SPOTS,(BUGJUICE OR ACID RAIN)THAT HAVE BEEN TOUCHED UP AS TO NOT REMOVE ORIGINAL PAINT. ITS ONLY NOTICEABLE IF YOU LOOK VERY,VERY CLOSE SO I SUPPOSE IF YOU WANTED THE CAR SHOWROOM NEW YOU COULD REPAINT HOOD AND HATCH WHERE SPOTS ARE BUT AS I SAID CAR LOOKS GREAT AND NOT THAT NOTICEABLE(JUST BEING AS HONEST AS POSSIBLE). THIS CAR STARTS AND RUNS BRAND NEW AND WAS JUST GM SERVICED,HAVE ALL RECIEPTS FOR MAINTANENCE,AND CURRENTLY HAS 4 NEW PERFORMANCE RADIALS AND NEW BATTERY. THE CAR IS SITTING IN A HEATED,CARPETED GARAGE UNDER A CAR COVER AND ONLY COMES OUT FOR SUMMER SHOWS IN EXCELLENT WEATHER CONDITIONS. IT IS NOT DRIVEN DAILY OR IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, JUST BABIED. THE CAR HAS SOME EXCEPTIONAL POINTS,SUCH AS THE WINDOWS WERE TINTED SINCE NEW(FLORIDA SUN)SO THE INTERIOR IS FLAWLESS(NO FADING),AND THE FACTORY RIMS HAVE NO DELAM OR SCUFFS,ALSO FLAWLESS. THIS IS ONE OF THE ONLY PACECARS THAT GM INCORPORATED THE "PACECAR" THEME THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CAR,INCLUDING PAINT SCHEME,STRIPE PACKAGE,AND VERY UNIQUE INTERIOR THAT WAS COMPUTER GENERATED FOR THESE CARS ONLY. IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE SHARPEST ONES EVER PRODUCED,AND SEEING AS THE LIMITED NUMBER BUILT,DESTINED TO BE A TRUE COLLECTORS ITEM. MY FAVORITE HOBBY IS CAR SHOWS AND EVENTS,AND I CANT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I ACTUALLY SAW ONE. MOST ARE SITTING IN A GARAGE SOMEWHERE AND COLLECTING DUST(AFRAID OF PUTTING ON MILES),BUT THIS ONE IS FOR COLLECTING COMPLIMENTS,PICTURES,AND QUESTIONS AT SHOWS. THE ORIGINAL OWNERS KEPT THIS ONE IN FLORIDA WHERE IT COULD BE ENJOYED ON NICE DAYS,AND STILL ONLY DROVE IT AN AVERAGE OF 3500 MILES A YEAR. AND OF COURSE BEING UP NORTH AN AVERAGE OF ONLY 250 MILES PER YEAR NOW. ITS AMAZING AT HOW NICE,TIGHT,AND QUIET THIS CAR RUNS AND HANDLES,ALMOST AS IF IT WERE STILL NEW. UNFORTUNATLY I WAS LAID OFF WORK(OUR WONDERFULL ECONOMY) AND HAD TO SELL MY TOYS, THIS IS THE LAST ONE LEFT AND I HATE TO SELL IT BUT ITS GOT TO GO.
