1971 Chevrolet Camaro camaro
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Here is my 1971 camaro that I was going to restore. Then I was going to pro street it. Then I was going to build a drag car. Cutting up this one would not be a sin, as its not a Z28 or a super sport. It needs lots of work, and I just dont have the time or money right now. This car is not a barn find, that would have been a bonus! It was BEHIND the barn!! It had been sitting for probably 10+ years. I put an old carb on it, dumped gas in it, put a battery in it, and with a few moans and groans, the poor old gal started up! You wouldnt beleve how bad the exhaust smelled! Gas turned to varnish bad. It doesnt run too bad considering the fuel. Starts up and idles ok. Moves forward and backward, brakes work. Dual exhaust with column shift. Old time Cal Custom valve covers, and the wierdest mags I've ever seen on the front. Its going to need body work, as there are some rust issues. All the glass is good, and the windows roll up an down. passenger door has a big dent in it, but I picked up another door. Ive seen better cars, and Ive seen worse, but it IS a 71 camaro. How many of these cars are left that are still affordable? Clear title in hand. Interesting trades? Email any ?? and I'll get right back to you. thanks everyone and happy bidding!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
