For sale is this 1981 Chevrolet Camaro z28. The engine was rebuilt in 2000 and has less than 10k miles on it. The transmission is a 700r4 overdrive. There is a 9" Lincoln Versailles rear-end and disc brakes all around. The paint is in very good shape and the car draws looks wherever it goes. The wheels are 17 inch Billet Specialties, with 275X40 (Corvette size) tires in the rear. The exhaust is a dual Flowmaster with tubular headers. The interior is a rag and needs to be completely redone, except for the carpet, which was new in 2000. The seats are from a Pontiac Fiero. This car has a Holley 4 barrel carburetor and all of the smog equipment has been removed. It will not pass CA smog (don't know about other states). That is partly the reason for the low-ball price. Another reason is that the car has been sitting for approximately 5 years. It will start and move, but the transmission leaks and the tires are starting to show dry rot. The car is sold as is, with absolutely no warranty. You may contact me and arrange for an inspection prior to the end of the auction. DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT HAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK. If you bid without positive feedback and without obtaining permission and are the winning bidder, the car will be sold to the next highest bidder with positive feedback. I am relisting this car because the last winning bidder had no feedback and did not pay me. Winning bidder must arrange for transport from seller's place in Riverside, CA. Seller's obligation to buyer terminates with putting a carrier of buyer's choice in possession of the car at seller's place.
