This is an incredible car with a lot of horsepower with its 502/502hp crate engine and 4-Speed transmission. It is a beautiful show car with a build cost of over $70,000 with a restoration photo album. It was shown this year at the 22nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Chevelle Show & Swap Meet (ACES North East Regional) where it judged 147 out of 150 points and earned the Directors Choice award. Since then its had some additional show detailing.

  The body on this Chevelle is perfect. It retains its original west coast sheet metal that is in excellent condition. This car was completely disassembled, mounted on a rotisserie and made perfect. The gorgeous Island Teal color was expertly laid on, color sanded between coats, and then clear applied. The clear was wetsanded and buffed to a stunning gloss finish. The black painted roof is correct for warm climate built cars, as this was built in the Fremont California plant. The floors are painted body color and are so nice, you can wax them. While the body was off, the frame was sanded, painted, and both front and rear suspensions rebuilt and detailed to factory new. After the body was back together, new chrome and trim were installed. An NOS interior complete with rubber floor mat was sourced and installed. An NOS AM Radio was also installed. A wood grain steering wheel really accents the beautiful interior. The interior is just as mint as the rest of the car.

  Not only is this a beautiful show car, but it drives excellent too. She also has a boatload of power with its GM Performance Parts 502/502hp aluminum headed crate engine. It is show detailed with correct over spray. It also features aluminum Yenko valve covers. Backing up this engine is a Muncie M-21 4-Speed Manual Transmission. Finishing the drivetrain is a 12-Bolt posi rear with 3.55 gears. Rolling stock consists of date coded dog dish steel wheel with caps and G-70 Redlines. She has manual steering and power brakes for that raw vintage street racer feel. This car runs strong, and drives excellent. This is a show car that you can actually use and drive.

  Overall, you are getting an excellent professionally restored show car that is done to a national standard. It was judged with near perfect results and is one of the best in the country.
