I'm selling this car for a friend and the cars location is in San Diego California. The car started out as a Very well maintained So. California Chevelle and was painted and badged as an SS Here are his build specs: · Originally built as a Aztec Gold, 307 SBC Chevelle ·
Car never
sustained a major collision to the best knowledge of owner ·
Current owner
acquired car in ‘04 and began 5-yr frame
- up resto. ·
All body panels,
except hood and glass, are factory original and without damage. ·
Original hood was
replaced in 2005 by owner prior to being painted in current colors. ·
The body on this
car is arrow straight; owner does not claim perfect panel alignment. The paint condition of this car is very good,
however, owner does not claim that the car is in 100 –point perfect
condition. ·
Interior
restoration done in 2004 to include addition of bucket seats, console shifter,
new dash pad, new headliner and door panels, new gauges and panel. ·
Carpeting was
replaced by previous owner as OEM replacement black color ·
Current 385 SBC
engine rebuilt in April ’09 with new water pump, valve springs, cam and
lifters, carburetor, and was a bored, stroked, line bored and decked 4-bolt block
which is painted Chevy Orange in color.
Pistons are JE, Crank is SCAT, bearings are CLEVITE with about 900 miles
on the new motor currently since rebuild. ·
Transmission is
an ART CARR prepared 700 R 4 with shift kit, and 2400 stall converter which
produces a 2200 RPM engine speed at 70 MPH. ·
American Racing
TORQ THRUST 15” rims ride on BF Goodrich
Radials which are 235 60 R 15 in front, and 285 60 R 15 in rear. Tires are in good condition. ·
The rear end is a
Chevrolet aftermarket 12 – bolt carrier, with 31 spline axles and 3.73 ratio
rear gears. ·
Rear end control
arms were replaced in 2007 with Global West tubular control arms with
polyurethane bushings. Drive shaft loop
is also in place. ·
Car also has a
Holley high volume electric fuel pump. ·

Sound system is
included with a Kenwood 10 disc CD changer. ·
The overall condition of this stunning 1969
Chevelle would be a solid #2 driver, inside and out, car that can be driven
anywhere, enjoyed and will win awards at car shows, and will definitely turn
heads and be sought after. ·
This car is not
air-conditioned, and has all black
interior. ·
Owner does not
claim that this Chevelle is an orignal Super Sport, but is striped and badged
to resemble one.
