You are looking at an original 1964 Chevelle Malibu Super Sport with its correct 283 220HP engine. This is a real deal SS car. Let me start off by saying that this had a professional frame off rotisserie restoration done a few years ago and its still looks amazingly fresh. This car has working factory AC, power steering, power brakes, 4 speed transmission. The car came from California and was in excellent condition, it really didn't need a frame off restoration, it barely even needed a paint job but I really wanted a fresh car and the restoration went very easy because there was basically no body work to speak of needed. The car is still wearing its factory installed vinyl top. New seat covers and door panels were installed. The front end suspension was rebuilt at that time as well as the brake system. The engine and trans were excellent so they were treated to a detail and some new seals, the transmission received a cleanup and detail as well as a new clutch kit. 4 new Redline tires were installed at that time. The codes are as follows: 4=1964 58=Malibu SS V8 37= Two door sport coupe L=Los Angeles/Van Nuys Assembly plant The interior trim codes were deciphered as Desert Beige paint and Medium saddle interior.
