1966 Chevelle Malibu VIN# 66-136176A126540

 

This is a very nice 66 Chevelle that was restored back in the early 90s and has been kept inside of a garage/shop since. It has had only about 2500 miles put on it since the restoration.

 

It has a 327 with the original 300 hp (double hump) heads, turbo 400 transmission (only has about 2000 miles on it since rebuilding), factory exhaust manifolds (not headers), true duals, and the original 10 bolt 3.08 non-posi rear end. It also has power steering, manual brakes (brakes new), and an 'add-on' air conditioner using the factory type AC compressor setup. (It may need to be recharged.) It also has the deluxe steering wheel and AM/FM/Cassette radio (dash was not cut, original style radio could be put back in if buyer wishes to do so). The dashpad is new and is original type, not a dashcap. The original vinyl interior has been replaced with three tone rolled and diamond pleated blue velour. The seat covers, door panels, and headliner are all original GM material, not aftermarket. The headliner is a blue buckskin. The carpet is also original GM carpet. The seat has the optional folding armrest. It has a new matching set of Cooper Cobra 225/70/R14 tires on chrome sawblade rims. The chrome is all original GM and is in excellent condition.

 

This was a really nice North Carolina car that only needed the left rear lower quarter panel replaced (as can be seen in the pictures). The rest of the car was in very good condition. The car was painted in a 1988 Mercedes Sapphire Blue. The car is very straight, as you can see down the sides. With a little touchup and TLC, this could be a show winner.

 

As this is an older car, it is sold 'as is', no returns. $1000 deposit required via Paypal within 72 hours of close of auction. The remainder is to be paid by cash or cashiers check within 7 days of close of auction. Car is only sold to buyer within 48 US states. You can 'fly in' and drive the car home. If you prefer to have car shipped, we will assist with that.
