Vehicle History Report Summary for 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I just lowered the price $2,500.00, so don't wait too long! This is a sweet, 1972 Chevelle Malibu with a recently completed, body on restoration. Get in it, start it up and drive off in style! Engine: A slightly modified 350 replaced the stock 307, which is not available. It has a stock 350 block, better than stock heads and a 4 barrel carb. Transmission: It has the original three speed automatic, which has been serviced and shifts great. Brakes: Front disc, rear drum. Wheels, Tires: Brand New, 15" Cragar style wheels with new tires. The front tires are P235-60-15 and the rear are 265-60-15. These cost me $1,450.00. Interior: The interior has been replaced with stock material and looks. It's very nice inside and has a bench seat. Exterior: The paint is new and looks excellent to me. It was repainted by the previous owner and he did a great job. He said there was no rust and no body panels were replaced. Bumpers: It has a new front bumper, but the rear bumper does have quite a few tiny rust specks. It is not show quality. This bumper is the weakest looking part on the car, but looks fine for normal use. Glass: The windshield is new and the other glass is very good. The rubber strips are all good. Exhaust: It has a new exhaust with a great Flowmaster style sound. It rumbles just right. The pipes are clean with no carbon or oil residue. Three items need attention that I know of. They are: The speedometer works but the cable squeaks. The shocks are soft, but I'm including two new heavy duty shocks for the front and two new air shocks for the rear (all uninstalled). The air blows cold and the heat is hot, but it blows weak out of the vents, so this needs to be fixed. That's all that I know about that needs fixed! Nothing big at all. Being an old car, I'm sure other things will pop up from time to time, but this car looks, starts, runs, sounds and drives great! If you want a car that can be driven without much effort, here you go! A lot of time, sweat and love was put into this car, so I can't afford to give it away, but I do need to sell it, so please bid what you are willing to pay and I'll see what I can do. Don't wait until the last second to bid, as I have it for sale locally at the Buy It Now price. If you want to send me a serious cash offer, email me at harleyhenry96@yahoo.com. I will consider a street legal motorcycle as trade in, up to half of the buy it now price. Send photos and a description with your offer. I work nights so I'm very hard to reach by phone. Payment and shipping terms: Sorry, no trades, I'm selling due to a pay cut at work and I need the cash to pay bills. I hate to sell this car and never planned on selling it, but things happen. Please ask questions before you bid and only bid if you have the funds to pay withing ten days after the auction ends. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours after the auction ends with Paypal. The winning bidder needs to pay with cash or a bank check. I reserve the right to hold the car until I am satisfied that the check has cleared the bank. The winning bidder also needs to make all arrangement for pickup and it must be picked up within 14 days after the auction ends, or a $10.00 per day storage charge might be added. Thank you!

I was asked to add some extra photos showing the trunk and underneath the car. I have several, but can't add them with less than 24 hours to go. If you would like for me to email them to you, send me an email at harleyhenry96@yahoo.com. I will send them late tonight or first thing in the morning. as I am heading for work right now. I can only send them if you include your email address. Thank you Note: A passenger side floor pan was added to this car. I didn't notice until I used the photo flash, so I apologize for that. I think the previous owner did mention that to me, but I had forgotten about it. I also saw where some minor rust had eaten away a little where the trunk gasket had leaked. That has been repaired and the gasket replaced. I found no other signs of rust and if you do upon inspection, you will not be held to your bid. Thank you. On Nov-08-09 at 14:52:53 PST, seller added the following information: I just added the VIN number and also have several new photos of the underneath. Send me your email address and I'll send them to you as soon as I see you email. Thank you. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
