Look at this! Here is a 1971 Corvette given the Pro-Street treatment along with a Baldwin Motion
paint theme. You won't find another one like it. The yellow-and-black colors, custom hood,
narrowed rear end, tinted windows, pop-up gas cap, Motion sticker, "SS" badges; it all makes
for quite a sight. Get used to people taking pictures. The body has been painted like the old Baldwin Motion Corvettes from the early 70's. Highlights include a beautiful hand-laid custom fiberglass hood scoop that looks perfect with this paint. The pop-up gas cap and SS badges at the rear stand out as well. The car is completely detailed in yellow, including the entire chassis and the engine block. This was originally an LS5 454ci car. It is now powered by a built 396ci motor with a full roller valvetrain, coupled to a 3,500rpm stall torque converter and TH400 transmission. It sounds fantastic and runs nice and cool. In back is a narrowed Ford 9" rear with a full 4-link suspension. Of course, it has huge Mickey Thompson meats on Weld wheels, with matching wheels up front. The disc brakes have been upgraded to Wilwoods. The interior is standard Corvette and is in excellent shape. Everything works! The gauges, clock (yes, the clock), seat belt light, door ajar light, power windows, heater controls, and instrument lights all work fine. The seat covers, cushions, carpeting, door panels, and seat belts are all new and in perfect condition. This was originally an a/c car but that has been removed, as was the radio and door locks (which were shaved). And in case you're wondering, the headlights do work perfectly, as do the wipers and wiper door! These can be real headaches on the '68 - '82 models, with their myriad of vacuum lines, relays, and actuators. No problems here. All the other little stuff that so often is ignored on cars like this is also present and working. The horn, back-up lights, and neutral safety switch are all there. This is the coolest C3 Corvette I've ever seen. Do NOT buy if you dislike attention. Otherwise, pop off the t-tops and rear window, roll down the windows, and watch them stare!
