THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST DEAL ON A MIDYEAR CORVETTE WE HAVE EVER HAD AND WE HAVE SOLD AN AWFULL LOT OF THESE CARS!!! WE JUST PRUCHASED THIS CAR OFF THE LAST OWNER OF OVER 20 YEARS AND WAS RARELY TAKEN OUT OF THE GARAGE AND REALLY LOOKS TO NOT HAVE BEEN TOUCHED AT ALL IN AT LEAST 20-25 YEARS. IT IS A VERY SOLID UNMOLESTED CAR AND IS VERY DRY WITH NO SIGNS OF ANY ROT OR RUST ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE. THE ORIGINAL COLORS OF THIS CAR ARE RALLYE RED AND COMPLIMENTED WITH A RED INTERIOR AND A WHITE TOP BUT IT NOW PAINTED WHITE WITH A BLACK STINGER. IT HAS BEEN UPGRADED WITH A CORRECT 1967 BIG BLOCK HOOD, SO THIS CAR HAS THE RIGHT LOOK!!! DON'T BE FOOLED, 1967 IS THE PINNACLE FOR CORVETTE DESIRABILITY AND COLLECTABILITY AND HAVING A 1967 CONVERTIBLE CORVETTE THAT LOOKS LIKE A BIG BLOCK FOR UNDER $40,000 IS A STEAL. NOT ONLY DOES THIS VETT RUN AND DRIVE VERY WELL, BUT CAN BE ENJOYED THE WAY IT SITS NOW OR RESTORE IT AND ENJOY WATCHING EVERY $1 YOU SPEND ON THIS CAR MAKE IT WORTH $2 MORE!!!! IT DOES NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL MOTOR BUT HAS A 327 SMALL BLOCK AND IS BACKED BY A 4 SPEED MUNCIE TRANSMISSION. ASIDE FROM THE MOTOR, THIS CAR IS BASICALLY STOCK AND ALL THE ORIGINAL COMPONENTS ARE NOT ONLY INTACT BUT ALL WORK. THE HEADLIGHTS OPEN AND CLOSE WELL, ALL THE ORIGINAL GAUGES STILL WORK INCLUDING THE CLOCK(THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE IS DISCONNECTED AND HAS A MORE ACCURAGE ONE UNDER THE DASH TO MONITER THE TEMPERATURE IN THE ARIZONA HEAT), THE ORIGINAL AM/FM RADIO STILL WORKS AND ALL THE ELECTRICAL IN THE CAR WORKS!!! IT SEEMS TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL INTERIOR AND IS NICE FOR A DRIVER, BUT THE DOOR PANELS HAVE SOME CRACKS IN THEM. THE PAINT AND BODY ARE NICE AND STRAIGHT AND SHINE WELL, BUT THE PAINT LOOKS TO BE DONE A LONG TIME AGO AND SHOWS SOME AGE. THE FIT AND FINISH OF THE BODY PANELS IS VERY NICE AND EVERYTHING OPENS AND CLOSES EASILY. THE TOP IS ALSO IN DECENT SHAPE BUT LOOKS TO BE QUITE OLD AS WELL. THE CHROME IS NICE, THE GLASS IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS NICE AND DRY. WE DO HAVE THE FAN SHROUD AND THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER AND WERE NOT INSTALLED IN THE PICTURES. MECHANICALLY IT RUNS AND DRIVES AS NICE AS ANY MIDYEAR WE HAVE HAD. THE MOTOR PULLS STRONG AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS WELL IN ALL GEARS. THIS IS A VERY AFFORADABLE 1967 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE THAT IS A GREAT TURNKEY DRIVER AND IS READY FOR A 100-200 MILE ROAD TRIP THE SECOND IT GETS DELIVERED TO YOUR FRONT DOOR AND IS NOT A PROJECT CAR.
