Fast440 is pleased to offer this high quality driver, 1963 'Vette Convertible featuring a non-Numbers Matching/Era Correct 327 C.I.D engine, Factory 4-speed manual transmission and Power Brakes.
The mechanics on the car have been completely gone through, and the vehicle runs exceptionally strong. Beautiful paint work, and in our opinion very good-to-excellent in terms of quality. This mild custom features nicely done flared fenders and a Big Block Stinger Hood. Not an original car, though beautiful to look at, a blast to drive and priced accordingly. Our inspection of the vehicle exterior reveals a high quality trim-off Clear Coat Paint job that is deep and lustrous. Only a few minor paint chips exist. Body panels are straight when looking down both sides of the car. Inspection of the usual areas of a Corvette body shows that this example is collision-free. Both doors will open and close nicely as well. The custom flared fender modification was performed to high standards, and wer nicely adapted to the factory bonding strips when viewing the insides of the fenders and Quarter Panels. All exterior trim items were either re-chromed or replaced, and soft products such as rubber door seals were replaced as well. The Convertible Top looks new. The 8" Corvette Rally Wheels look good on the car, however a custom wheel application would make this car really stand out. The flared fenders make this consideration limitless.
OOverall, and in our opinion, a very good exterior presentation.
Our inspection of the vehicle exterior shows to be completely re-done as well, and everything works including the Factory Radio. The Clock keeps perfect time, and it appears to have been converted to a Quartz movement. Shift linkage is factory tight. Slight wear exists on the passenger-side dash pad area. Overall, and in our opinion, a very good interior presentation.
As previously mentioned, all mechanics have been completely gone through. The 327 motor runs very strong and stats reliable. Transmission, Brakes, Rear Differential including U-Joints and electricals have all been addressed. This 'Vette Convertible is ready go anywhere right now.
The Concealed Headlight assembly works quickly and perfectly on command. Please note that the headlight buckets line up nicely with the body lines with consistent gap, another indicator of a collision-free body.
There was a slight drizzle outside on the day we were taking these pictures. You are viewing rain drops in some of the pictures, and not paint flaws for example in the picture above.
