1963 Chevrolet Corvette Corvette

1963 Chevrolet Corvette project car. I purchased the vehicle about 4-5 years ago from a guy in Texas. The frame is very solid with no rust on it at all and it has now been painted you can see pictures of it. The main cross over in the engine bay had a section cut out of it at one time in order to fit a larger engine in. Structurally it did not weaken anything but a piece will have to be welded back in there. As far as I can tell the body has never been in an accident. It did however have fender flares on both front and rear fenders. We took the damaged parts off both the front and the rear and then our body shop epoxy glued them back on the rear and did the body work and they just need to have a final block to be ready to paint. The doors are also in excellent condition. The front end the old parts were taken off because of the fender flares and the top panel needs some slight repair still where the flare was. We have all the new replacement parts for the front end and we screwed all of them into place except for the front valance which is inside the car. The hood underside looks excellent but the top has pitting and Im not sure what that is from but it is definately fixable. The complete car was plastic media blasted and then it has a coat of Duratec over the entire body which is the proper product for the first coat on fiberglass so you wouldnt need to remove that. Obviously this is a convertible and we have the top to go with it and as far as we can tell the top was originally white. The trim code is 490K so the interior is Daytona Blue and the Paint code is 916A which is also Daytona blue so the car is a blue on blue car with a white top. There were 10,919 convertible corvettes made in 1963 and this was the 2,213 convertible car produced. I have most parts for the car and what you see in the pictures is what I have. We have neatly boxed the parts up and put most of them in the car. In addition to these parts I have a Borg Warner tranny for the car that is dated March 16th of 1963 and I have a blow proof bell housing that is dated Feb 4th 1963. The rear end in the car is a 3:55 posi and it is dated March 6th 1967. There is no engine that goes with the car. This is an excellent project. The work that has been done so far is excellent and done by a professional shop so it wont have to be done over and all the body parts are there and ready to go. You can either find a correct dated engine for the car or put in an upgraded engine that would be your choice. I have a considerable amount over 20K in the car but I wont get that out of it because I am bailing on the project half way through. Feel free to give me a call and we can try and work a deal out if you like. If you are really fast I could deliver it out toward Sacramento California or somewhere in between because I am leaving to pick up a car there this Sunday. I would drop it off for 600 dollars and it would be in an enclosed trailer if it is close to my route. This is a project and it is very solid but there is no warranty on it at all. I reserve the right to sell the car at any time and remove it from ebay. I have a clear Texas title for the car. Thanks for looking at my car and give me a call if you need any more information.
