Up For auction is a 1964 Corvette Convertible Side Exaust Project Car . The Reasons why i am listing this as a project car are as follows : The breaks need to be bled or the master cylinder needs to be replaced ( Does not leak Fluid ) The Head lights come on nwith the switch but the headlights do not roll . ( Everything is present and hooked up including all switches , head light motors ETC .) Not sure if roll over switch needs replacing or a ground Problem ? The radiator has a small leak which i did not know until i installed new upper & lower hoses and filled with Anti Freeze . All of these items will be the responsibilty of the new owner . The car was not factory equipped with side exaust but was added at some time before the repaint years ago as the holes in the exaust vallance were filled before the Marioon paint job was applied . The car is a soft top only car with no provisions for a hard top . The soft top has been folded up under the deck lid for years and is not ripped and the rear window is clear . Needs to get a few days of sun light to fit again or possibly a heat lamp might work . The frame has light surface rust only from long term storage no rust or holes . The car has had an oil change & new oil filter and fresh gas added and points scuffed to get it running after many years of srorage . New air filter as well . The motor is a 1966 dated 327 D-5-6 or April 5th 1966 , the casting number is 3858180 . The heads are dated 1969 and the casting numbers are 3927186 , the distributor is the origional tach drive delco remy and is hooked up to the tach and works . The intake manifold is an Eldebrock and the carb is a holley . I think the car was origionally a 365 HP as the guages are all origional and the tach is a 6,500 red line . The interior is very nice origional condition with no rips or tears to dash pads door panels or seats . The Passenger side has some wear marks and i belive was swapped from the drivers side years ago . The carpet is complete and is starting to show some age but very presantable for it's age . The spare tire tub is complete with no road rash . The Rims are 7'rally with decent tires and all trim rings and center caps in good condition . The tranny is a muncie with a hurst competion plus shifter and a period correct shift knob. All the bumbers are in above average condition with nice shine . The front grill & trim , windsheild stainless , all in very nice condition . All origional glass , windsheild has wiper marks which i have been told will buff out by a knowleagable person . The front suspension has been rebuilt with the following parts : New Knuckles , new upper & lower ball joints , new upper & lower A-Arm bushings , new coil springs , new shocks , new sway bay bushings & links ETC. The trim Tag reads as Follows : Style 867 , Trim STD (which decodes as Black Vinyl ) Body A-2148 Paint 940A (decodes as Satin Silver ) This car is being sold in as is condition as has no warranties implied or otherwise . This car will need to be towed as it has no brakes at the present time . A $750 non refundable deposit is due in 3 buisness days at auction end By Pay Pal Or Cash if here in person .
