| Hi, we paid $4000 for this car, via Mercum Auto Auction, and then put $2500 into the car upgrading everything from the ground up. This El Camino has a newly rebuilt 350 Chevy Engine, and an Edelbroch 4 barel carb, which alone cost $450. Ready to go anywhere, this car is a steal......We just need the money, that's why it's so cheap...... This car is mechanically sound, the brakes, although I rebuilt them in the past 18 months, will eventually need new front pads. Right now the car stops, and is safe to drive home, but the brake pedal does have a bit more play than it should. The only other issue, that is really minor, and that I hope to have resolved is the backlight to the speedometer guage is out. Might be a wire. The power doors work well, passenger door is missing the interior handle, and the windows are a bit sluggish. Connections need to be gone over periodically on El Camino's. The engine is fabulous. Nothing wrong with it. This car will lay rubber....Im telling you!

Edelbrock Carb, & Intake Manifold. Dual Exhaust, (Just done) the tires are Dayton Road & Track. They are the biggest tires you can put on an El Camino. Suspension is good, shocks and springs were replaced within the last 2 years. This car has been well maintained and is in good condition barring a few superficial dings that you would expect on a car this old. The frame is straight and true, car drives straight, like an arrow, Does not lean. Frame has been inspected and has little to know rust. The back gate opens and closes well. The hitch was professionally installed, and yes the lights work. There are new sunpro guages installed, and the headlights are hooked into a switch that you just click on and off. *Please note: Dash backlight is not lighting up right now. May be a fuse...Im looking into it.
