She's real fine my 409! This is a true SS with a 409 V8 in it and a 4 speed. In the early 80's they replaced the heads and had the block decked. When they did that, of course the stamping on the front pad is now gone, so I cannot guarantee this car to be numbers matching. It is however a true, original big block SS! For those of you who dont care if it is or isnt, this car is a BEAST!!!! It sounds mean, it has TONS of power, and drives very nice. This car is wearing all of its original sheet metal. The 409 is mated to a M22 4 speed transmission. This motor was rebuilt about 4 years ago, here are some of the things that were done: New ROSS 10.5 to 1 forged pistons with chrome moly rings 30 over New oil pump, lifters, cam 425hp New main and con bearings, crank turned 10/10 Heads been completely rebuilt, factory 400-425hp Still has factory oil canistor, Factory (rare) cast iron headers, New 2 1/2" exhaust with flowmasters complete, New Alternator, fuel pump Has a 64 model dual quad manifold with 2 new edelbrock 600 cfm carbs, New accel electronic ign.
