1966 NO RESERVE Chevrolet Impala SS. Numbers matching car with a rebuilt 327 hooked up to the original 2 speed powerglide transmission. New tires, original interior except for two racing bucket seats, new windsheild not yet installed with new clips and moldings, and owners manual. Runs and drives great but not complete this is a solid car but will need a trunk pan and inner wheel wells. If I can find wheel wells I will include them with the car. With some tlc this could be a real clean orginal car. Will accept serious trades, interested in 69-72 Chevelle SS or Malibu of equal value and condition. i wanted to add that im not sure about the tranmission being the one that came in the car i had someone tell me that in 1966 it did not come with a 2 speed power glide but i looked it up and it said that in 1966 the SS was an appearence package only and u could order what ever engine and tranny that u wanted,and the center consle is missing,and it does have a fuel cell in the trunk,im tring to be as honest as i can be about this car it is nice and can be made to be a nice show car with very little effort it wouldn t take much,and like i said before it is missing the 2 front inner wheel wells but im tring to find a set now and if i find any i will include them with the sale of the car,i figured i would add thses things i dont want to misleed anyone im an honest person and i want to keep it that way GOOD LUCK IN BIDDING IM GUNNA LOWER THE RESERVE NOW BUT REMEMEBR I CANT GIVE IT AWAY I WISH I COULD On Oct-14-09 at 09:41:08 PDT, seller added the following information:
update i found out the tranny is the one that came in the car that is good news i wanted to find out before i told anyone that it was, the numbers confirm, so now we all know so u people that say 1966 did not come with a 2 speed powerglide you r dead wrong so bid with knowing u r getting a real car just the way it was made in 1966 SS I HAD SOMEONE I KNOW LOOK UP SOME NUMBERS FOR ME AND WAS TOLD ITS SURE THIS IS THE TRANNY THAT CAME IN THIS CAR ITHE REASON IM ADDING THIS IS BECAUSE THERE WAS ? ABT THE TRANNY SO THERE U HAVE IT, IF THIS WAS NOT THE REAL TRANNY I CANT BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD JUST FIND A POWERGLIDE AND PUT IT IN THIS CAR IF IT NEEDED REPLACED I WOULD HAVE PUT A 4 SPEED MUNCIE IN IT IF IT WAS ME.AGAIN I DONT WANT TO MISLEAD ANYONE
